Career Guidance Tarot Spread

May 13, 2022

This Career Tarot Spread will give you some guidance in just about any career situation. For example, you could be wondering what career would suit you? Maybe you are trying to get ahead at work? Or you might even want a new job. This career spread should work in all of these situations.

Remember, this is a simple career tarot spread to get you started. You can always pull extra cards for more clarification if you need it.

Overall Energy

This card will give you a bird’s eye view of the situation and allow you to see the bigger picture. You can tell  where your career is heading from this card. For example, the Eight of Swords would indicate you are engaging in some self-limiting or self-sabotaging behavior. While the Six of Swords would mean you are about to get a new job or a raise…or some other career-related victory.

What are my strengths?

This is a good way to identify the career strengths you can utilize to your advantage. Be sure to interpret this reading through the lens of strength. What do I mean by that? Let’s say you got a card with a negative connotation. For example, the Three of Swords. The Three of Swords is associated with disappointment, literally having your heart broken.  in this particular position, it would mean you are able to overcome disappointments and persevere. What about The Lovers? Well, that would mean, you put your heart in your work, you really care about your job.

What are my weaknesses?

You’ll recognize this question from just about every job interview. These are the areas you should concentrate on. By accounting for and minimizing our weaknesses, we become stronger employees and candidates for positions.

Beware…in  this area, you might also find a positive card. For example, what about the Three of Pentacles? The three of Pentacles would suggest you work well in teams and don’t have trouble with communication. However, it might mean you have trouble working on your own and you need to be part of a group.

What are the blockages or barriers to my success?

What is standing in between you and success? This might be another person, like another candidate for the job. It could even be your own misgivings and fears. Or even a bad habit that is getting in the way of your success. Once you know what this is, you can address the situation and move past it.

What don’t I see coming?

This card is helpful to determine whether or not you have a blindspot about this situation. It could even give you insight about a hiring manager or your current supervisor. It’s good to ask questions about the unknown, because we can make assumptions about a situation that blind us to the actual truth.

What is the best advice for me?

This is one of my favorite questions to ask the tarot. I usually ask it at the end of every single tarot spread I do for myself. It’s helpful to have some guidance on what to do in the situation.

Suit of Pentacles

May 2, 2022

What does the Suit of Pentacles represent?

The Suit of Pentacles represents the physical, tangible world. This includes our home, our career, our money, our health. It also represents things like time, effort, or energy. The Suit of Pentacles is about the resources we have and what we do with them.

The Suit of Pentacles is also sometimes called the Suit of Coins. If you look at the cards, the pentacles are shaped like golden coins. And they represent value. What is valuable to you? On a more emotional level, the Suit of Pentacles can mean our self-worth, knowing our own worth.

Pentacles are associated with earth. In the imagery on the cards, you’ll often see gardens, plants, and seeds. It makes sense. Earth energy is slow and steady. It requires time, effort, and energy to grow a strong and healthy plant.

What Signs do Pentacles Represent?

There is a connection or correlation between astrology and tarot. The Suit of Pentacles represents the Earth signs (Capricorn, Taurus, and Virgo).

Suit of Pentacles in a Love Reading

Since this suit deals with money, health, and careers, it might be confusing if one of these cards pops up in a love reading. I’ve found that Pentacles represent someone’s effort in a relationship, how much they value a relationship or a person, and the energy they are willing to put into a connection.

Suit of Pentacles as Feelings

When it comes to emotions, Pentacles are about self-worth and value. They represent valuing a relationship or your partner. They can speak to knowing your own value.

The Four Seasons and Suit of Pentacles

There are many correspondences and ideas about the four tarot suits and their corresponding seasons. For me, the Suit of Pentacles are about Fall, the harvest season. Pentacles are about wealth and abundance. To me, fall is a very abundant season.

What cards are in the Suit of Pentacles?

Below, you will find a list of Suit of Pentacles cards and some basic meanings to get you started. If you are curious about the rest of the cards, please check out the

Ace of PentaclesThe beginning of a new cycle when it comes to career, money, health, or your home.
King of PentaclesThis is a financially, stable, entrepreneur kind of energy. Very stable, grounded, and centered person.
Queen of PentaclesShe can represent a parent who works outside of the home. This about nurturing yourself and building a stable environment that feels safe and secure.
Knight of PentaclesA cautious, careful person who takes his or her time and always has a plan.
Page of PentaclesThis can be an offer of something valuable. Pages are often about messages or communication. For example, this might mean a job offer.
Ten of PentaclesBuilding generational wealth, caring for family, building a legacy for those you love.
Nine of PentaclesSingle, independent energy. She knows her worth and value and is enjoying the fruits of her labor.
Eight of PentaclesDoing what you love and loving what you do. This is lovingly working on something, putting all of your time and energy into the project.
Seven of PentaclesThis about a first harvest, or planting even more seeds for the future.
Six of PentaclesGiving to others, balancing the scales.
Five of PentaclesLoss and lack. Not having any resources.
Four of PentaclesGuarding resources, spending very carefully. This can also mean being a little stingy with your time, money, or energy.
Three of PentaclesConversation, Collaboration, Cooperation
Two of PentaclesWeighing options, having a lot of “balls” in the air, being busy

Soulmate Tarot Cards

April 29, 2022

Soulmate Tarot Cards

Which tarot cards indicate a soul mate? Below, you’ll find a list of tarot cards that I look for when I’m doing a soulmate tarot reading for someone. I also have a couple of quick soulmate tarot spreads you can do for yourself.

The Lovers

The Lovers is the ultimate soulmate tarot card. I think of it as an intense connection between two people.  It’s about following your heart and not your head.

Ace of Cups

This card is about the beginning of a brand new love cycle. It’s falling in love with someone. Water in the tarot represents emotion and, in this card, that love is overflowing.

Two of Cups

In some ways, the Two of Cups is the minor Arcana equivalent of The Lovers. I think of this card as a partnership card, first and foremost. It means you have found a life partner. This car doesn’t have to be purely romantic, by the way. It can be in a business partner, a friendship, even a family relationship. But there is a kinship between these two people. They are on the same page and they want the same thing. They are a unit.

Six of Cups

So, this is a card of the past, of childhood. When I see this card in a soulmate tarot reading, it’s a sense of soul recognition between two people, meaning you might have been together before in a past life. Or there is some sort of tie between you and this other person. You might have known them since you both were children or there is an innocent quality to your love, like having your first crush all over again.

The Star

For me as a reader, The Star also has a soulmate quality. It’s a very spiritual card. It means hope or having a wish granted. There’s a spiritual connection here between the two of you, that goes beyond physical attraction or an emotional bond.

Temperance

This card is about balance. When I think of soulmates, I envision this person’s energy as being complementary…where you have a weakness, this person has a strength. And vice versa.  This card is also about being patient, being steadfast. For me, this card also has a soul connotation…it’s about the very best of what a person is capable of. Their highest self.

Wheel of Fortune

So, this is about fate  here. This person is meant to be on your path, they are part of your journey and the connection was meant to be. The Wheel of Fortune is fate, destiny, good luck, good fortune, and this is an important connection.

Soulmate Tarot Spreads

Here are two helpful tarot spreads to determine if someone is your soulmate, or how you might go about meeting this person, if he or she hasn’t shown up yet.

When Will I Meet My Soulmate Tarot Spread

If you haven’t met a special someone yet, this is the tarot spread for you.

Who Is This Person

Ideally, you should pull a court card here, but any card you pull will give you a portrait of this person. Maybe it is about their work or their relationships or even what they love. If you want more information, pull a clarifying card for yourself as well.

How Will I Know This is My Person

This is an important question. This is a sign pf what you should look out for to determine whether or not this is the one. Let’s go through some examples. What if you pull the Queen of Wands? You might be looking for a fire sign. A Leo, a Sagittarius, or an Aries. What if you pull The Magician? I would be looking for someone who is very intentional about how they speak, they have a tendency to manifest or call things in for themselves. This person might even be an energy worker. The Magician is very well spoken and a charmer.

Where/How Will I Meet This Person

Okay, so this one is tricky. Tarot cards are about energies and less about corporeal places. The card isn’t going to tell you that you will meet your soulmate at the mall on Saturday. But it can give you a general idea. For example, if you pull The World or The Chariot, you might meet this person while traveling or this might be a long distance relationship.

If you pull the Three of Pentacles, you might meet them through work. What about the Wheel of Fortune? You might just run into this person through sheer luck.

Timing Card

So, pulling a timing card is helpful here. You can narrow down your window of opportunity. You need to pick a numbered card (not the court cards or Major Arcana) from the suits. For example, the Two of Cups would mean two years, two months, two weeks, the second month of a year, the second day of a month….some number of two will be involved here. The Three of Pentacles would mean three years, three months…etc. You get the idea.

What happens if you don’t get a numbered card? Keep going until you get one, but interpret the cards you get along the way, because they will tell you what obstacles or opportunities you might meet along the way.

Advice

I nearly always ask this question. There might be something you are missing, and this question gets to the heart of it. Maybe there is something you can do to bring about this relationship sooner. Maybe there is something that you need to know about yourself or this person. You never know what might come up with the sort of question.

Is He My Soulmate Tarot spread

How does this person feel about me?

I always ask this question rather than if a person loves me because people are complex and we might feel more than one way about a person. When in doubt, ask an open-ended question in a tarot reading so that you can get as much information as possible.

 Is this person my soulmate?

Here’s the big-ticket question that you want to know. Please have a look at the tarot cards I mentioned above for some insight on this question. What happens if you don’t see one of those cards? Well, you might want to ask if there is a soulmate out there for me?

What are the blockages in this relationship?

This is a helpful question when you want to figure out what the roadblocks are or barriers that you need to get around.  This can be feelings like fear or anxiety. It can also be obstacles like family members or a job.

 Where is this relationship going?

This will give you an idea of where this relationship could end up.  Are you looking for a commitment? Is your partner looking for one? What if this person isn’t interested in marriage? This will give you an idea of what you can expect.

Advice

I always ask this in every single spread I do for myself. And I do this for my clients as well.

Five of Cups

April 14, 2022

Five of Cups

This is a very melancholy card. The Five of Cups is a card of the past. It’s about a loss. It’s about a sense of grief, sadness, pining for what used to be, or what might have been. There is a feeling of overwhelming disappointment, that something here didn’t work out the way you had envisioned.

This card embodies grief, regret, and the acknowledgement of our mistakes.  It’s worthwhile to note, that the figure in the card is ignoring the two cups, which are still full behind him and, instead, is focusing on those that are spilled all over the ground. What’s done is done and what’s said is said. We can’t go back to the past and fix something, so we have to focus on the here and now instead.

It can mean you are dwelling on your losses, on your failures and you can’t see the good in a given situation. Just because you didn’t get everything you wanted, doesn’t mean that the entire situation is a loss.

Five of Cups Reversed

Usually a reversal in a reading means blocked energy, that something isn’t quite right. . In this case, the Five of Cups Reversed is the way you want this card to show up in your reading. The Five of Cups in Reverse means you are letting go of something or someone. This could be a person, a relationship, a disappointment, a loss of some sort.  You have made your peace with it and you are no longer living in the past. It’s okay to feel regret and sadness, but you must let it go and move forward. This is acknowledging you will do better next time.

Five of Cups Yes or No

In a yes or no reading, the Five of Cups is definitely a “no.” Whatever you are seeking, will end in disappointment and regret here. Even if you were to get the thing you are asking about (a relationship, a job, someone’s love, etc.) it would only end in disappointment. There’s something wrong here.

Five of Cups Reversed Yes or No

In the reverse, this is still a “no.” There is some element of loss or sadness in this outcome. While this is a slightly better outcome than in the upright position, it’s a far cry from a successful result.

Five of Cups Love

Cups, in general, are about feelings and relationships, but this card in particular is about regret and loss. It’s not a great sign in a love reading.

This card can mean a break up or a separation, or even a divorce. You also might be focusing on the past in your relationship, thinking about the way things used to be. Dwelling on the past and the way things might have been is dangerous, it keeps us trapped.

Five of Cups Reversed Love

The Five of Cups can also be about regretting our actions, or maybe our inaction. In the reverse, this person may have gotten some perspective on the relationship and sees things differently now. This card might mean you are ready to move on after a break up, or you are willing to get past a fight or a disagreement.  It’s important to pay attention to the cards surrounding it for more context clues.

Five of Cups as Feelings

When it comes to feelings, this card means heartbreak, loss, sadness, or dismay. It’s not a good sign when it comes to feelings. This person may be clinging to a past partner and they aren’t able to see what (or who) is right in front of their face. In this card, the figure is obsessed with the spilled cups and isn’t even noticing the two full cups that remain. This person might not appreciate you. This is definitely a card about living in the past or wishing things were different than they actually are.

Five of Cups Advice

There is some really good advice to be had in this card. We often focus on what we don’t have, what is no longer here. This card is a very good reminder to pay attention and to be grateful for the things you still have. You are being called to shift your perspective in this situation. Since you can’t change the situation, all you can do is adjust your own perspective. Human beings, in general, tend to look for the negative.

It’s worthwhile to note that two of the spilled cups in the card contain wine, which is the purple  substance. While the other cup contains a green liquid. Some tarot readers believe that the third cup is filled with poison. Meaning, losing that particular cup wasn’t that big of a loss.  While you may not have everything that you are looking for, you have enough. You just have to look for it.

Money Tarot Cards and Their Meanings

April 3, 2022

Tarot Cards Money

When it comes to Tarot cards that mean money is heading your way, I’d look for the Suit of Pentacles overall. The Suit of Pentacles is about the physical, tangible world. It’s the suit that deals with your home, your finances, your career, and your physical well being. So, you want to see Pentacles in any money reading you do for yourself.

Four of Pentacles

This is sometimes called The Miser card. It’s about pinching your pennies and being careful with your funds. This is the kind of card that shows up when you need to create a budget for yourself or you need to shop around for the best price. This is the card that will pop up when you are saving for a big goal like a down payment on a house.

Five of Pentacles

This is a card about lack and loss. The Five of Pentacles Will show up in a reading if you are worried about money. It can mean unemployment, having your hours cut, not having enough money to meet your basic expenses. It can also mean that you aren’t paying attention to the resources around you. Sometimes things aren’t as bleak as we make them out to be.

Six of Pentacles

This is a card of receiving, being given something valuable. It’s someone being very generous with you. This could mean a raise or week or an unexpected windfall. If you feel like your money never lasts, this is a great card to get.

Nine of Pentacles

This is my favorite money card in the whole darn deck. This is single, independent energy. She’s in the garden of her life, and it’s harvest time. Talk about abundance! This card is all about having more than enough money to do the things you want to do. This isn’t  just about covering the bills like the Four of Wands or having just enough money to meet your responsibilities. The Nine of Pentacles is about living large.

Ten of Pentacles

This is having generational wealth or building so much money and resources that you have something to hand down to your children. You have enough to take care of the older generation and provide the younger ones, too. This is financial security that will last a lifetime.

Page of Pentacles

This card is about a financial offer coming your way. Pages are usually about communication or information. This could be a job offer. It could be a business opportunity. It could even be something as simple as getting money in a birthday card or a raise at work. This tarot card can indicate a windfall of cash.

Queen of Pentacles

The Queen of Pentacles is a card of financial security and stability. Like the Nine of Pentacles, there is an aura of abundance about this card, and the ability to be financially independent. The Queen often supports others with her wealth though. She is very generous to those she loves.

King of Pentacles

Much like his counterpart, the Queen of Pentacles, the King of Pentacles is financially secure. He is sometimes a business owner and has sustained wealth that might last generations. This card is often associated with being an entrepreneur and the ability to make money from your ideas.

Ace of Pentacles

I tend to think of the Ace of Pentacles as building a nest egg. It’s the start of a new cycle (because it is an Ace) when it comes to your finances. It’s slow growth over time, like depositing money into your savings account weekly. Or your 401K growing every quarter. This is slowly building wealth and abundance for yourself. Day by day, dollar by dollar.

Four of Wands

This is a stability and security card. It means you have the basics covered. You have food in the fridge, a roof over your head, and you can pay the utilities.

Tarot Cards Meaning Lottery Win

Want to know if you have a windfall of cash coming your way? These are the cards to look for in your tarot reading.

Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune is the luckiest tarot card in the deck. It’s a card about good luck, good fortune, fate, destiny. It means that fortune is smiling on you. Whenever this card appears in your reading, good things are heading your way.

Nine of Cups

Like the Nine of Pentacles, this card is about happiness and satisfaction. The Nine of Cups is about having everything you could ever need. This tends to be a card about material satisfaction and the contentment that can come from having your needs met.

Ten of Cups

This is a wish fulfillment card. While Ten of Cups can mean a commitment, it also means getting everything you have ever wanted.

If you would like your own reading on your finances, you can check out the readings I offer. If you would like more information on tarot card meanings, you can check out my cheat sheet here.

Tips for Crafting Your Own Tarot Question

Ask one thing at a time.

Sometimes clients will ask how their significant other feels about them as well as a third party. For example, does Jane love John as much as me? Separate this into two questions instead. How does Jane feel about me? How does Jane feel about Steve?  The answer will be a lot clearer if you focus on one thing at a time.

Keep your questions open-ended.

For the most part, you should avoid yes or no questions whenever possible, because they are limiting.  My classic example of this is asking how someone feels about you versus if they love you. Why? Because people are complex. They can have more than one feeling about you at the same time. If you ask this question, you might also uncover some blockages in this relationship.

Don’t stack the deck in your favor.

Clients will sometimes craft questions on suppositions or hopes that they have in regards to the relationship. When will Jane commit to me? A better question might be what would happen if Jane and I are in a commitment? Or how does Jane feel about commitment to me? Reassurance-based questions aren’t that helpful because you are trying to nudge a situation one way or another. So, you aren’t getting an accurate reading.

Leave room for the unknown.

We often ask questions about things we want to know but what if we are missing something? If your heart is involved, you might be missing something. Emotions can skew your judgment. I always ask one question about what I don’t know. This could mean asking for advice. You could also ask if you or your partner have a blind spot about a particular issue.

Timing Questions Aren’t that Helpful.

Timing is tricky in tarot. It does a better job reading the energies available than the time and place concerns we might have. Ultimately, the timing will depend on the actions both you and your loved one take, and the choices available to you. Tarot can give you a timing window, but it is going to be big and broad. Ultimately, I think it isn’t that helpful.

How to Cleanse Tarot Cards Without Tools

March 21, 2022

How to Cleanse Tarot Cards Without Tools

Here are some simple ways to cleanse tarot cards without using any special tools. All of these methods are quick and easy to use. Why should you energetically cleanse your tarot deck?  It is important to regularly cleanse your cards in between divination sessions in order to get more accurate readings.

Visualization

This is the easiest method of cleansing your tarot cards. Simply hold them in your hands and visualize whatever feels right to you. Some people envision a white light surrounding the cards. Some imagine wind sweeping away the energy. Others think about a cleansing fire that leaves the cards untouched and burns away any negative vibes. You could even imagine water rinsing the tarot in your mind’s eye.

Sound Cleansing

This is another simple method for cleansing your cards. In a lot of spiritual traditions, rattles are used to break up the energy. If you don’t have one, you can fill a container with dry rice or dry beans or even small gravel. I’ve used a baby food jar, an old pill bottle, and a leftover lip balm tin for this purpose. After you fill it up, shake the container around your tarot cards. Stop whenever they feel clean to you. If you are witchy like I am, this is a useful tool to keep on your altar. It can be used before you do any spellwork.

Another method is finding a YouTube video. There are several that feature singing bowl, rattles, and chimes. Or simply try a 417 HZ video on YouTube to dispel negative energies.

Moonlight

You can use the cleansing energy of the full moon to bathe your cards in pure silvery light. I live on the top floor of my building with really large windows, so I simply move everything to the window sills the night of the full moon. You might also have a basket that you use to gather up your crystals and take them outside. Just make sure it’s a safe place and no one can steal your crystals.

Sunlight

Much like moonlight, sunlight also has a cleansing energy. And, unlike the light of a full moon, sunlight is available every single day. Be careful not to leave your tarot cards out too long, or you will fade the artwork. This is an abundant resource you can use all year long to clear the energy.

Air

Your breath is a very powerful force. It puts a bit of your soul into something. Air moves energy and invites change. You can breathe on the cards, or you could even open a window and leave the cards near it. Obviously, don’t let the cards blow away.

Salt

This is another method that doesn’t require any special tools. You can use any kind of salt you happen to have on hand, including regular old table salt. One caution though, don’t leave the salt on your cards for a long period of time. Salt attracts water and it will ruin your cards…literally washing the ink right off them. Yes, this is happened to a card I used in a spell. Instead of burying your cards in salt, I recommend sprinkling the deck with salt and then dusting it right back off.

Earth

You can also sprinkle the cards with a little bit of earth from the garden. Earth is grounding and centering.  Some people advocate burying the cards, which you can do. However, be very careful that you use an airtight container like a jar or a ziptop bag. Personally, I prefer the sprinkling method so the cards don’t get dirty.

Herbs

You can use herbs in much the same way you can use salt and earth, by simply sprinkling the herb over the cards and then dusting it off. No special herbs are needed. Rosemary would probably be the most accessible. In fact, it’s probably already in your spice cupboard. An alternative would be ordinary garden sage. These can also be burned to smoke cleanse the cards, which I will touch on below.

Knocking on Tarot Cards

I often knock my cards on the table as I’m shuffling to shake the energy up. Some people knock on the deck, as if they are at someone’s door. But I like to this as part of the way I riffle shuffle the cards even if I have cleansed the deck in another way. It’s a good routine to get into and I think it provides a more accurate reading.

Cleansing the Tarot Deck With Tools

Now, we will cover some ways to cleanse your cards with some tools. I’m sharing these because they are fairly common but useful methods of cleansing not only your cards but your space as well as your energetic fields.

Smoke Cleansing

Smoke is a great way to cleanse tarot cards and it’s one of the most popular methods for a reason. The most traditional methods include white sage and palo santo. If you are going to buy either of these, make sure the materials are ethically sourced. Another way of smoke cleansing is using an incense of your choice. My favorites are Dragon’s blood and Cedar. You can even burn an herb like bay leaves or rosemary to cleanse your cards. Just make sure not to burn your fingers.

Whatever you are using, just run your cards through the sacred smoke. I wreathe my cards in the smoke in a circular motion. I stop doing this whenever the cards “feel” clean to me. Your intuition will tell you when it is time to stop.

Crystals to Cleanse Tarot Cards

I think that selenite is the perfect crystal for cleansing tarot cards. You can get a selenite wand for as little as a dollar a piece in the United States. Selenite is the only crystal that cleanses itself. I keep selenite in the same drawer I put my tarot decks in for this purpose. Selenite was named after a moon goddess and the crystal has this lunar sort of glow to it. Using selenite for this purpose makes sense, because moonlight is also a method for cleansing tarot cards.

Clear quartz would be another good option since it is also cleansing and clearing and relatively inexpensive.  You could also use a black crystal like tourmaline, onyx, or obsidian. All of these crystals are protective and they absorb negativity. One unusual crystal might be black tourmaline in clear quartz. It’s the perfect balance of cleansing and protection.

Do you use any of the methods listed above? If not, how do you cleanse your tarot cards?

Best Love Tarot Cards to Get in a Relationship Reading

February 11, 2022

There are several tarot cards that are associated with love and romance. If you are doing a love reading for yourself, what cards should be looking for? As a whole, I would say the Suit of Cups is the most important one when it comes to romantic relationships and love. But below, I will list my thoughts on the best tarot cards for love. Some of them may surprise you.

Knight of Cups

I think the Knight of Cups is the most romantic tarot card. The Knight of Cups is the Romeo (or Juliet!) of the deck. I think of wine and roses when I see this card. The Knight of Cups is the essence of romance, courtship. It represents first dates and nights spent talking to each other for hours. This is infatuation, having a crush, flirtation, and that sizzle of attraction.

Two of Cups

A lot of people would say The Lovers is the most important love tarot card. But I beg to differ. For me, the Two of Cups is a lot more important.  I think of this card as a partnership. To me as a reader, it’s finding a life partner. This person is your other half. This is someone who has your back, who knows you inside and out, and they love you flaws and all.

Six of Cups

This can be a puppy love, innocent crush kind of card. It can also signify a childhood sweetheart. This is also a soulmate or soul tie card. It’s the sense of having a long shared history with someone. The Six of Cups indicates a strong connection with someone. Either this relationship has already lasted years or it will. If this shows up in your reading, it’s a fantastic sign.

Ten of Cups

Behold the Happily Ever After card in the deck. The Ten of Cups has the energy of the happy ending of a romance novel or a romantic movie. The couple is together forever. It’s a wish fulfillment, a commitment, getting everything you’ve ever wanted. Roll credits!

Ace of Cups

This is an overwhelming amount of emotion. This card is often depicted as water sloshing over the side of a cup, or as a fountain. This is falling for someone. Hard. Your emotions are literally uncontrollable. It can also be the start of a new love cycle with someone, a new beginning in love.

Four of Wands

This is stability in a relationship. You feel as if this person is your home. This is a steady, stable relationship. It can represent taking your relationship to the next level. For example, if you are dating, it could mean getting engaged or moving in together.

Three of Pentacles

This might seem like an unusual pick. The Three of Pentacles is both a dating card and a friendship card. Whenever I see pentacles in a tarot reading, I think about the connection being valuable, about putting in time and effort and energy into this connection. And this card represents working with someone on a relationship, building a connection, growing it.

Ten of Pentacles

This is safety and security in a relationship. I think of it as the business of being married. It’s settling down with someone and sharing your home, your resources, like a banking account or a mortgage.  Pentacles represent the tangible, physical world and this is building a legacy with someone. This is living together, raising children, taking care of the old folks, and handing down wisdom and wealth to your grandchildren.

The Hierophant

This is a marriage card. Let’s make the relationship official. The Hierophant is all about structure in society. It’s religion, politics, education, the family, and…of course, marriage.

The Empress

This is the divine feminine, the wife and mother. I see this as a card of marriage and motherhood, of being nurturing and open. And abundant. This card balances The Emperor. In a relationship reading, your partner finds you attractive, they can see you becoming your spouse and having children with you.

The Emperor

This card represents the divine masculine. He’s the father and the husband. It’s about bringing order to chaos, being in charge. It’s the perfect energy to balance The Empress. When this appears in your reading, your partner can see themselves being married to you and raising children.

Temperance

This might be an unusual pick, but I see Temperance as balance. This is someone who is a perfect complement for you. And this is also the card of patience, of being balanced in your approach to another person. Every partnership should have an equal give and take.

The Lovers

This list wouldn’t be complete without The Lovers. I think of this card as twin flames, soul mates, following your heart and not your head. If this card shows up in one of your tarot readings, there are intense emotions present and this is a very important romantic connection for you.

How Does He Feel About Me Tarot Spread

January 31, 2022

How Does He Feel About Me Tarot Spread

How does your person feel about you? Some people can be hard to read. Or they are closed off when it comes to showing emotion, so this tarot spread will help you shed light on a person’s feelings for you. The How Does He Feel About Me Tarot Spread is a really simple way to give you the clarity you are looking for.

Prepare For the Reading

Before you begin, make sure you are calm, grounded, and centered. You won’t get an accurate reading if your emotions are all over the place (sad, angry, frustrated, nervous). It might be helpful to do some meditation. Even closing your eyes and taking a few deep breaths will help.

You might want to set the scene by lighting a candle and some incense. I like to pass my cards through some sort of sacred smoke before I begin (incense, sage, palo santo). I find that ritual creates the right atmosphere.

Shuffle your cards and think about the person in question. I like to picture the person’s face in my mind.  Ask your question aloud or say it in your mind as you shuffle. You’ll know when it’s time to start pulling cards.

Some people will place a picture of the person in front of them or an object the person gave you. Or even one of the person’s items like a piece of jewelry or clothing. But that isn’t necessary to do an accurate reading.

How Does He Feel About Me Tarot Spread

Here’s the basic tarot spread. Feel free to tweak it to suit your own needs. And remember, you can always pull an extra card or two to clarify the information.

Card One: What Does He/She/They Think About me?

What impression does your person have about you? How do they see you? This can also give you a clue to this person’s feelings for you.

Card Two: What Does He/She/They Feel About me?

Okay, this is the hard one. This will give you a sense of your person’s feelings for you at the moment.  I find that asking a bigger, broader question yields a better outcome in a tarot reading. Oftentimes people will ask, does this person love me? Yes or no questions are not that helpful. People are complex. We might love someone, but we also could be frustrated by the person,  or maybe we are nervous around them.  You want to get more information about their emotional state.

What cards should you be looking for?  Cups symbolize emotion in the deck. So, the more Cups there are, the better. Some key cards to look for are the Ace of Cups, Two of Cups, Three of Cups, Five of Cups, Six of Cups, Ten of Cups.  Here’s a quick cheat sheet for all of the card tarot meanings.

Card Three:  What Actions Will He/She/They Take Towards Me?

This is a really important question. It’s one thing for a person to have feelings about you, but is he or she or they going to act on those feelings? For this position, I’m always on the lookout for communication.  Cards that indicate communication are the Page of Wands, Page of Cups, Page of Pentacles, and the Page of Swords.

Another good sign would be the Suit of Wands.  Wands are about taking action, passion, creativity, a spark.  I think of these cards as having a fire lit underneath you. It’s time to make a move!  In particular, look for the Eight of Wands,  Knight of Wands, or the Ace of Wands.

Card Four: What Do I Need To Know About This Situation?

Sometimes, when our heart is involved, we don’t see the situation clearly. There may be something that you don’t know or something that you don’t really notice about the situation. This is an opportunity to get some clarity.

Card Five: Advice

This is an important question that I always include in my readings. Whatever you find out, this will give you some guidance on your path forward.

how does he feel about me tarot spread

There you have it. The How Does He Feel About Me Tarot Spread. Hopefully, this will shed some light on your relationship.  Remember, your state of mind matters when it comes to a relationship reading. Make sure you calm and centered when you start pulling cards.

Still not getting the clarity you seek? You might want to order a private reading with me. Or you could watch one of my YouTube videos posted this week for your particular sign to shed light on your situation.

Four of Cups

January 28, 2022

Four of Cups

In this post, I’ll be discussing the Four of Cups meaning for advice, the outcome, in a love reading, as feelings, and other meaning variations. Check out the video down below if you are more of a visual learner where I go through all the meanings.

What does the Four of Cups mean?

The Four of Cups is really about a disconnect. Between ourselves and what we want. When this card shows up in your reading, it is time to reconnect with yourself and your goals. You might be feeling a sense of boredom with your life or unhappiness with the current state of it.  This can mean we are ignoring options and opportunities that come our way. Sometimes this means we aren’t sure what the heck we want in a situation in the first place. When this card appears, you need to step back from your issue and reevaluate your life in the larger sense.

The Four of Cups can also mean having a sense of apathy towards our current life.  Maybe you feel you want more or that we have earned more. Maybe you have worked really hard for something and the reward wasn’t enough. Get in touch with your intuition.

Four of Cups Love

When it comes to love, the Four of Cups can mean indifference. Often, the person depicted on the card has their arms crossed, looking away from the cup being offered to them. In tarot, cups symbolize feelings. Cups are associated with relationships. The person in question (yourself or the person involved) are being self-absorbed or aren’t able to see the situation for what it really means. We aren’t seeing the love that others have for us. Or we don’t share someone’s feelings.

Sometimes, we are not ready for a relationship at this time. Or we aren’t ready for this relationship in particular. We might not see the opportunities available to us. In short, you aren’t that into this person. Or they aren’t into you.

Four of Cups as Feelings

Four of Cups as feelings means indifference, apathy, and disengagement with the people around us. Cups in general are about our feelings and the relationships we have. In this particular reading, the Four of Cups is a distinct lack of feeling or a disconnection to those feelings. There is something big missing here.

This card can also mean unrequited love. We might have offered our cup of love to someone and they have rejected not only the offer, but us as well. This can be really painful.

Four of Cups Reversed

The Four of Cups Reversed is about coming back into alignment. Now we know what we want and we know which option to use. We aren’t overlooking any of the opportunities available to us. We may fear missing out on something.

You might be feeling as if you are seeing this more clearly right now. Maybe you made a hasty decision or reached the wrong conclusion initially and now you are back on track.

Four of Cups Reversed Love

When it comes to love, the Four of Cups Reversed means we are finally realizing what is right in front of us. We might not have been interested in this relationship, but now they don’t want to miss out on the opportunity.

The person we have been dealing with may have rejected us in the past, or they have been apathetic about the relationship. And now they are taking action towards us. They might have realized that they made a huge mistake here.

Four of Cups as a Person

This is someone who is never satisfied. There’s a sense that this person isn’t happy with their life or their situation. They may constantly see the grass as being greener on the other side. If this represents the person you have been dealing with in a relationship, they might have been withdrawing from you.

Four of Cups Advice

Make sure you aren’t missing out on something that has been offered to you. This is a card about checking in with yourself and coming back into alignment with  your goals. This opportunity or offer coming your way might be unexpected. It might not be something that you think you want. Or need. However, appearances can be deceiving. Make sure you aren’t missing out on something by rejecting it out of hand.
